Admission
The goal of the Learning Resource Provider is
to select students whose academic background,
work experience, leadership abilities, communication
skills meet the demands of the Online Program.
These individuals must be able to benefit from,
as well as, contribute to the educational programs.
Intelligent ethical, articulate and active individuals
are encouraged to pursue this program.
Basic Eligibility
The Basic eligibility for Admission to Doctorate,
M.Phil., M.Tech. Course is Post Graduate Degree.
Post Graduate Degree means a candidate who has
successfully completed a 2 year University Degree
program. An admission in Doctorate & M.Phil
Programme is through entrance test as per the
guidelines of UGC.
The Basic eligibility for Admission to PG Course
is Bachelor Degree. Bachelor Degree means a candidate
who has successfully completed a 3 year University
Degree Program.
Note
Students having 2 years Bachelor Degree has to
do a bridge course.
Technical Requirements
The Technology Enabled Learning(TeL)
programs require a reliable internet connection.
ADSL or Broadband connections are recommended.
Study with a dial up connection is possible but
a minimum modem speed of 56K is required. As the
platform used in ONLINE CAMPUS taught modules
utilizes the windows operating system all students
must be able to fully utilize Microsoft products.
Hardware and Software requirements for PCs are:
- A reliable internet connection. ADSL /
Broadband connections are recommended.
- An email account.
- Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista
- Pentium IV or compatible running at 2.0
Ghz or higher.
- 1 GB RAM (Random Access Memory)
- 120 GB or Greater hard drive.
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or higher)
- Adobe Acrobate Reader version 8 or higher
- Web Browser (Firefox 3.0 or Internet Explore
IE 6 or higher version Firefox)
- Java for Windows 6.6
- Windows Media Player (Version 7 or higher)
- CD /DVD drive installed or connected to
Computer
- Inkjet Printer / Laser Printer
- Antivirus Software
To ensure your success, you should
be proficient using email, the internet and common
desktop productivity software.
Foreign Students
All foreign students seeking admission to the
Technology Enabled Learning(TeL), Courses of TGOU
must join a regular course of a recognized University
in India. Alternatively, they should either be
working in India or should be dependents of a
person working in India. The course under TGOU
TechnologyEnabled Learning(TeL), can be undertaken
simultaneously with the regular course mentioned
above. No eligibility certificate will be issued
to a student who comes to India only to join TGOU
Technology Enabled Learning(TeL), Courses.
Rejected Applications
If the applicants do not satisfy the eligibility
criteria, the applications are returned to them
along with all enclosures and the fee paid after
deducting Rs. 1000. Such students are, however,
permitted to apply again after they satisfy the
eligibility criteria. The students whose applications
have been rejected may appeal to the University
if they wish to have a review of their applications.
Transfer Credits and Waivers
Students are given appropriate transfer credits
under a system of advance standing reading to
waivers at the time of enrolment, based on past
academic records.
Students Regulations
All the enrolled students will be provided with
the Students Regulation which contain the various
rules and regulations pertaining to administering
the program and the examinations. All registered
students are required to strictly adhere to the
rules and regulations stipulated therein.
No Refund
The amount once paid is not refundable under any
circumstances except in the case of rejected applications.

Students can enroll into any program by logging
on to www.tgouonline.com for filling the application
form online and making the payment through Internet
Right to Amend Rules
The University reserves the right to amend the
rules and regulations wherever considered necessary
and appropriate without any prior notice. Such
amendments will be intimated to the students through
the website www.tgouonline.com. Therefore, this
publication and the descriptions contained herein
are not to be construed as a contract binding
the University or the Learning Resource Provider
to any specific policies. The students are advised
to go through the website frequently where all
circulars and important information will be hosted
from time to time. Promulgation of any such information
on the website in the form of circulars/notices
is considered to be adequate.
eLEARNING POINTS
The University has authorised e-Learning
Points at different location in India and abroad
to render assistance to the students. The addresses
of e-Learning Points are available on www.tgouonline.com.
They are equipped to:
- Provide counseling to the students on various
programs.
- Supply of admission material
- Acceptance of completed application form,
basic amount and confirm spot admissions for
those who satisfy the requisite criteria.
- Swiping facilities for Credit/Debit Cards
- Provide internet access to the enrolled
students
- Answering student queries
- Attending student problems/grievances
- Facilities for downloading of of study material
etc.
- Sale of all the publications of TGOU Press
including Journals, Magazines and Books.
Please note that the examination
results are confidential. The result will be declared
on the website www.tgouonline.com which the students
will be able to access with a protected password.
