Objective
The three years Distance Learning Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Degree conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of social welfare, labour welfare, social change, social organisation and disorganisation etc.

Eligibility: 10+2 in any discipline
Duration :Three years

Award
Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Degree shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland. They will also be eligible for admission in the Master's degree programmes in the relevant Schools and Faculties at The Global Open University, Nagaland.

Extra Papers for TRIPOS
Health and Food Safety, Social Reforms in India, Fund Raising for Social Work, Government's Aid for Social Work Extra Fee for DIPOS Programme : Rs. 5,000 Extra Fee for TRIPOS Programme : Rs. 5,000 Exam Fee @ Rs. 150 for each paper of DIPOS & TRIPOS

Bachelor's Thesis: To be submitted by all students before appearing in the final BSW examination based on a topic to be selected out of the subjects studied by the students during first, second and third year. This is compulsory and an integral part of the Bachelor's Degree with a view to enabling the students to acquire expert knowledge of data collection.
