Objective

The one year Distance Learning Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of computers, internet, operating systems, office automation, programming languages, pagemaker, tally, hardware maintenance, web design, coreldraw, C++, Visual Basic etc.

Award
Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland. They will also be eligible for admission in the BCA Degree with exemption in different papers already studied by the students of Diploma in Information Technology (DIT).

Assignments
All students must submit assignments in the form of Mini Project Reports for each paper.

Summer/Winter Placements
All DIT Students shoul try to get summer/winter placement of two months duration from 15th April to 15th June or from 15th October to 15th December in reputed public / private sector organisations.
