Objective
The two years Distance Learning Master of Arts (M.A) Degree in Distance Education conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of distance and virtual education, open university education, media and communication, web based education, online education, economics of distance education, outreach and related research and development issues.

Award
Master of Arts (M.A) Degree in Distance Education shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland. They will also be eligible for admission in the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programmes in the relevant Schools and Faculties at The Global Open University, Nagaland.

All admitted students are required to submit a Master's Thesis at the end of 2nd year.
