Objective
The two years Distance Learning Master of Arts (M.A) Degree in Tribal Development conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of social triology, empowerment of scheduled tribes, rural and urban entrepreneurship among tribal communities, planning and management of tribal areas, education and training for tribals etc.

Master of Arts (M.A) Degree in Tribal Development shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland. They will also be eligible for admission in the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programmes in the relevant Schools and Faculties at The Global Open University, Nagaland.

Master's Thesis
All admitted students are required to submit a Master's Thesis at the end of 2nd year preferably based on the data collected by them from Central / State level Undertakings / Private Sector Units.

All admitted participants must submit subjectwise assignments based on the Mini project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects to be studied in the first/second year. |
