Objective The two years Distance Learning M.Sc. Degree in Disaster Management being conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of Disaster Mitigation, Hydrological, Coastal, Marine, Atmospheric, Geological, Technical, Forests, Wind and Water Driven Disasters for mitigating the effects of earthquakes, floods, droughts, cyclonic storms, landslides, avalanches etc.

Award
Master of Science (M.Sc.) with specialisation in Disaster Management shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland. They will also be eligible for admission in the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programmes in the relevant Schools and Faculties at The Global Open University.

Assignments
All admitted participants must submit subjectwise assignments based on the Mini project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects to be studied in the first/second year.
Master's Thesis
